Seminars
Our two seminar series are an important part of our Training Program and of life in the Department and serve as a social and academic hub for students and faculty to congregate and learn together.
The department has an active faculty seminar series with speakers from around the world. Speakers may be invited by faculty or students and speak on a variety of topics related to genetics research, keeping our department up to date on the latest research being done in their field.
Our Student Seminar Series gives our students and postdocs an opportunity to share their work with peers. Faculty are not permitted to attend this seminar series without a special invitation. This protects the seminar space as a place for peers to collaborate and critique one another's work.
